PC0A Condenser high temperature protection
What the control is telling you
The condenser coil temperature (T3) is too high, so the unit protects itself.
Applies to: DLCURAH18-60 AAK/ABK single-zone heat pump outdoor units (18K-60K, regular and High Heat)
Likely causes
- Dirty or blocked outdoor coil
- Outdoor fan not running
- Hot air recirculation (poor clearance)
- Overcharge
- T3 sensor fault
Test and repair steps
- Warning: Turn off and lock out power at the outdoor disconnect and wait for the inverter capacitors to discharge before touching the outdoor board or compressor wiring.
- Clean the outdoor coil and clear anything blocking airflow.
- Confirm the outdoor fan runs at speed.
- Check installation clearances so discharge air is not recirculating.
- Check refrigerant charge.
- Check the T3 sensor reading.
