KeepRite · Furnace
1+2 Blower running after power-up (normal)
What the control is telling you
One short and two long flashes. Normal: the blower runs for 90 seconds when power comes back during a heat call, or when the heat call ends during the blower-on delay.
Applies to: KeepRite (F/G)9MXE single-stage and (F/G)9MXT two-stage 95% furnaces
Likely causes
- Power was restored while W was calling
- Heat call dropped during the blower-on delay
Test and repair steps
- No repair needed - wait out the 90 s blower run.
- After the 90 s the light should go back to the heartbeat and the furnace answers the thermostat normally.
- If it shows up often, look for loose power connections or a thermostat that drops W.
