E22 Parameter programming request
What the control is telling you
The board has lost its parameter memory and the parameters must be reprogrammed.
Applies to: FLOWMAX-90, FLOWMAX-120
Likely causes
- Loss of microprocessor memory
Test and repair steps
- Enter the parameter menu switch OFF, then switch ON while holding '+' and '-' until 'PL' - '0' shows; release.
- Hold 'S' and press '+' to pick a parameter; release 'S', press 'S' again to show the value.
- Set each parameter with '+'/'-' (e.g. P1 water heater type, P2 gas type 00 = natural gas / 01 = propane, P3 heating range) and press 'S' to confirm.
- Switch the unit off and on again so the new settings take effect.
- If memory is lost again, suspect the control board.
