E26 Return static pressure sensor out of range or not connected
What the control is telling you
The optional return static pressure kit (BAYFURNPTKT) reads out of range, or it is enabled but not plugged in. Furnace operation is not affected.
Applies to: Trane S8V2 only
Likely causes
- Kit enabled in app but not installed
- Harness unplugged
- Faulty transducer
Test and repair steps
- Check whether BAYFURNPTKT is actually installed; if not, disable it in the Link mobile app (disabled is factory default).
- If installed, confirm 5 VDC supply from the IFC and that the output voltage tracks the measured pressure.
- Replace the transducer if the output does not follow pressure.
