E25 Orientation sensor out of range
What the control is telling you
The internal orientation sensor is not responding. Furnace keeps running; the sensor only sets the display direction and supports remote diagnostics.
Applies to: Trane S8V2 only
Likely causes
- Sensor fault on IFC
Test and repair steps
- Power off for one minute and restore.
- If it remains, set the orientation manually in the ORN menu with the Menu/Option buttons or in the Link app set-up wizard.
- Check the display reads the right way up; replace the IFC only if needed.
