EC51 Outdoor EEPROM error
What the control is telling you
The outdoor main board's memory chip (EEPROM) has a read/write fault.
Applies to: DLCURAH18-60 AAK/ABK single-zone heat pump outdoor units (18K-60K, regular and High Heat)
Likely causes
- Outdoor main board fault
- Power disturbance corrupting board data
Test and repair steps
- Warning: Turn off and lock out power at the outdoor disconnect and wait for the inverter capacitors to discharge before touching the outdoor board or compressor wiring.
- Power the unit down for a few minutes and restart to see if the error clears.
- Check supply voltage is within 187-253 V.
- If the error returns, replace the outdoor main board.
