Blower runs at high speed with burner off

What is going on

Blower will not idle down in standby.

Likely causes

  • Blower signal cable disconnected
  • No 24 VAC to the control

Check in this order

  1. Check the 5-position Molex on the blower and the 4-position Molex on the control
  2. Check the control power LED and fuse C
  3. Measure 24 VAC at J8 pins 1 and 2
