E348 No 24 V on Y2 output
What the control is telling you
With a non-communicating outdoor unit, Y2 relay/stage 2 failed. Critical alert. Note: the manual's text for this code is inconsistent; verify on the unit.
Applies to: EL296UHV(X) series furnaces (integrated control 103130-XX and 107045-XX)
Likely causes
- Y2 pilot relay contacts did not close
- Relay coil not energized
Test and repair steps
- Measure 24 VAC at the Y2 output during a second-stage call.
- Check W915 (Y1-Y2) link status and wiring.
- Replace the integrated control if no output.
- Clears after reset and Y1 input is sensed.
